This three-hour workshop is designed to help potters better understand glazing concepts.In this workshop the instructor will provide resources and information to outline glazing concepts, materials and techniques.

In this workshop the following subjects will be covered, glazing, underglazes, stains, oxides, temperatures, raw materials, commercial glazes, various techniques, equipment, intro to glaze making and more.

Students are encouraged to bring a pottery piece they may wish to glaze. Some sample tiles for the instruction period will be provided.
